Tryout Information

  • Dates Details
     TBD
    • Get changed and report to the big gym with all equipment on day of tryouts. 
    • You may drop off your baseball bag in the athletic storage closet from 7:45am to 8:00 am.
    • Be prepared for either outdoor or indoor tryouts!
    • Outdoor tryouts mean: baseball hat, shirt, baseball pants, cup and cleats.
    • Indoor tryouts mean: must have sneakers.
    • All players must have a ride home at 4:30pm.
    • Pitchers and catchers may be asked to stay an extra 15 minutes. 
    • Cuts will be made at the end of each tryout round.  A final tryout date may take place later in the week. 
    • Please note that the tryout schedule and times may change based on weather conditions and/or field availability.

    • All tryouts are in the main gym, unless weather and field conditions are favorable. 
    • Once you are dismissed from class, come down to the main gym/locker room, get all equipment needed for tryouts and meet me in the center circle of the main gym. 
    • Attire appropriate for indoor and outdoor tryouts. Depends on the weather and field conditions.
    • Must have cleats for outdoor tryouts.
    • Must have sneakers for indoor tryouts.
    • Must have a glove and helmet.
    • You can bring anything else you have that you might need for tryouts (bat, batting gloves, etc.)
    • You can store your bags in the athletic storage closet. Please bring your bag down the morning of tryouts, between 7:45-8:00am. The athletic storage closet is in the basement, to the right of the weight room.
    • For me to effectively observe everyone, it is highly recommended that you attend all 2 tryouts. 
    • Must have a ride home for both days at 4:30pm.

    • Boys and Girls will tryout on separate dates.
    • Tryouts will be outside, please dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle.
    • It is highly recommended that you attend both days of tryouts - see a coach for any issues.
    • Must have a ride home for both days at 4:30pm.
